My name is Isabel Parlett, and ever since my early days as a coach, I’ve been working to figure out how soulful business owners can use words to make a living doing work they love and how they can make the deep, powerful transformations that they offer feel clear, tangible and easy-to-understand.
As an early adopter in the coaching industry. I worked with lots of types of people, and I realized that no matter who you are -- executive, artist, manager, or new business owner -- you need good words to communicate your value to the world, and without that it is very, very hard to have the impact you want, or secure the opportunities to do work that is both pleasurable and meaningful.
Over the years, I started to develop tools and techniques to get people quickly to the good stuff – to the richest, juiciest message they had to share. To give voice to the passion and excitement they had about their work. In fact, I developed such a reputation for finding clear, simple words for hard-to-describe offers that I wrote the definition of coaching for the International Coach Federation (to be precise, I was headed the team that wrote the definition).
I developed a highly acclaimed program called Work on Words (which later became Put the Mojo in Your Message) that walked hundreds of people through the process of message development, a program that I’ve taught as the mainstay of my business for over eight years.
Many people came out of that training saying it was the best investment they ever made in their business. My customers described how perfect new clients seemed to start popping out of the wood work the clearer they got about what they were here to say. They reported prospects showing up ready to hire them just because of what they read on their web pages.
I’ve taken the best of the knowledge I’ve developed over 17 years of business and career coaching and 8 years of specializing in communication training, and put it into a powerful series of steps that gets you quickly to your core message, and then keeps that message alive in all the words you develop to present your work to the world.
